Shredded Foam — loose filling, made from shredded foam, supplied in variable-weight bag.
This is the filling to use when you want volume that moulds itself: loose cushions, backrests, pouffes, chaise longues and seats that settle to the person. Because the flakes are loose, the filling can be adjusted by hand — take some out or add more until the firmness is right, and it fluffs back up after being compressed.
Composition: 100% polyurethane. The flakes are multicoloured because they come from the recycling of surplus from the bedding industry — which is what gives it a better price-to-quality ratio than virgin fibre, with the advantage of reusing material that would otherwise be waste. As it goes inside the cover, the colour does not show in the finished job.
